Terms of Use - Reclaimed Gospel

These terms apply to the website at reclaimedgospel.com and the Reclaimed mobile app. By using either, you agree to them.

What Reclaimed is

Reclaimed is a Bible word search game, a Bible reader, and a question-and-answer tool. Its answers are drawn from articles published on this site, written from a historic evangelical Protestant perspective, and are generated with the help of a language model.

Answers are study aids, not counsel. They can be incomplete or wrong. Every answer shows its sources — read them. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and nothing here replaces your pastor, your church, or Scripture itself.

If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. The app will point you to one, but it is not a crisis service.

Your account

You can use Reclaimed without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in secure and let us know if you think someone else is using it. You must be 13 or older to create an account.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

use Reclaimed to harass, deceive, or harm anyone;
attempt to break, overload, scrape in bulk, or reverse-engineer the service;
resell or redistribute the content as your own;
use the service where doing so would break the law.

We may suspend an account that does these things.

Reclaimed Plus

Reclaimed Plus is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play.

Monthly: $4.99. Yearly: $29.99, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel it for you.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.
If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged; any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Prices may change. If they do, we will tell you before the change affects your renewal.

Content

The articles, puzzles, artwork, and code are ours or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright. You may read, quote with attribution, and share links freely. Bible text is from public-domain translations: the King James Version, the World English Bible, and the Bible in Basic English.

Anything you write — journal entries, notes, questions — stays yours. We store it only to give it back to you, as described in the privacy policy.

Availability

We try to keep Reclaimed running and accurate, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.

Ending things

You can stop using Reclaimed at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date above and note it in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Reclaimed after that means you accept the new terms.
